Incoming inspectors upload inspection data directly to a web based intranet as components are inspected. Customers can access the information in real time and evaluate supplier performance.
All components are then ultrasonic cleaned prior to being inventoried.

Important characteristics of an Optimas contract assembly Line:
1. In process inspectors after each contract assembly point.
2. Clear visual guides.
3. Clear Inspection guides.
4. Non conforming bins at each station.
5. Emergency line stop at each inspection station, requires supervisor and QC manager to restart the line.
6. Trained workers specific to each station.

All products are assembled in a clean AC environment. Staff are required to wear safety glasses and gloves. Applications of grease and pastes are carried out using metered devices. All components, contract assembly workers and inspectors and bar coded for 100% traceability.

Final product is coded after testing for complete traceability after leaving Optimas.
